Our client is a renowned global leader in material handling (all-terrain or industrial forklift trucks, aerial platform, etc.) looking for a Regional HR Manager - Mandarin speaker based in Singapore.

Mission :

•Recruit, develop and adapt human resources for APAM region. Advice and support Management in regards to HR expertise.
•Implement in APAM, the Human Resources Policy defined by Headquarters.
•Provide valuable regional inputs on policies and social environment to HQ.


Job Description

General Mission :
Directly assigned to the VP Sales/MD APAM and to the Human Resources Manager for Sales and marketing; the HR manager APAM will:
•deploy the HR policy defined by HQ in APAM (Asia, Pacific, Africa & Middle-East)
•be in charge of the day to day Human Resources management for APAM Sales & Marketing area

Main missions:

1) Recruitment (all kind of contracts)
•He (she) analyses the needs with a validation of adhoc managers.
•He (she) ensures that the recruitments are held in due time and with quality.
•He (she) ensure the redaction of employment contracts in line with local laws.
•He (she) is in charge of the good induction of new joiners.
•He (she) manages all litigation with employees if necessary (disciplinary procedures, dismissal…).

2) Skill development and Compensation & Benefits Management
•He (she) is making sure that job descriptions exists for all positions and of an annual update.
•He (she) makes sure that all the Comp&Ben HQ policy is deployed in APAM region (job grading).
•He (she) animates the yearly annual interview process (Galileo).
•He (she) anticipates, prepares and conducts the different Professional / geographical mobilities).
•He (she) plans, prepares and organize the OPR process for APAM region and get feedbacks to HRM S&M.
•He (she) deploys the annual salary increases policy, defined regarding the yearly budget.
•He (she) organises training plans for employees regarding development skills needs.

3) Management advises
•He (she) assists the management in the day to day team management.
•He (she) advises and helps management in their projects of development.
•He (she) makes sure that the social policy is applied and the labour law respected in his (her) perimeter.
•He (she) prepares, advise and set up the different working hours and flexible organisations regarding the local needs.

4) Communication and reporting
•He (she) makes sure that all his (her) decision are in coherent with the HQ policy (Recruitment, mobility, training, Compensation and benefits ….)
•He (she) reports on a weekly basis to the VP Sales APAM and to the HRM Sales & Marketing with a Weekly Report.
•He (she) initiates the indicators for APAM region defined by HQ or any adhoc local indicators.
•He (she) follows the HC evolution in his (her) perimeter and is charge of preparing the HC budget for HRM S&M.
•He (she) shares the social policies and best practices with HQ.

5) Labour law and litigation
•He (she) oversees the payroll for Singapore subsidiary
•He (she) makes sure that the local labour law is respect and assists the managers for any disciplinary procedure.
•He (she) elaborates if necessary all official document in case of litigation (dismissal process….).
•He (she) is in charge of any litigation in his (her) perimeter.

Qualifications
•Degree in Human Resources management, Business administration or related field
•8 to 10 years of experience in a similar position
•Regional experience and expatriate management exposure
•HR software management experience
•Past experience in project design and implementation
•Ability to communicate fluently in both English and Chinese (Mandarin)
•Self-motivated, initiative and able to work autonomously
